People are in love of the admiring glances they get when they look beautiful. They also love to see others beautiful. And above all, everyone wants to delay succumbing to the ravages of age. All this has made beauty treatments an important aspect of modern life, and aromatherapy is a significant activity enhancer in this world of body aesthetics. Both aromatherapy herbs and aromatherapy oils are effective beauty aids that help a person to maintain his youth and looks.
Many of the aromatherapy essentials oils are used for cosmetic aromatherapy. In combination with carrier oils, lotions, and balms, they are used to produce an array of skin care lotions or creams and hair care aromatherapy products. A few drops of an essential oil in bath water itself can make it an agent of cosmetic aromatherapy.
Aromatherapy oils of spikenard, lavender and neroli can be mixed with any good carrier oil to make a body lotion. It has just to be mixed together well and bottled and stored. It makes a very good aromatherapy body care product. An aromatherapy product which is extra nourishing for face can also be made in a similar way. The preferred ingredients in this facial aid are vitamin E oils, frankincense, evening primrose, carrot seed, geranium, and jojoba.
The ingredients necessary for a similar aromatherapy lip care product are beeswax, canola oil, peppermint, and vitamin E oils. Because all the ingredients that go into the making of aromatherapy beauty care products are natural extracts, all these lotions and creams are safe to use. These can be used in different combinations to cater to the varying requirements of those with dry skin, or oily skin, or acne.
The home made cosmetic products of varying combinations of aromatherapy oils are beneficial in many ways. First is the fact that they are free from negative side effects since all are natural products. Then, home made goods are always cheaper since there are no questions of manufacturing costs, taxes, shipping charges, or profit margin involved. Lastly, every cosmetic product made at home using aromatherapy oils can be made to suit the specific requirements of the individual a bargain that would never be possible when one has to opt for a product that is marketed in mass.
Aromatherapy soaps, aromatherapy bath products, aromatherapy massage oils, skin gels, body wraps, ointments, and facial masks are some of the beauty care products that can be made from aromatherapy agents. All these aromatherapy products are very soothing and relieving for all types of skin, and are extra useful for those who have sensitive skin, or have problems of psoriasis, acne, or eczema.
